Whelp, that got out of hand...

If you liked yesterday's post "Customers are harder than investors", you're not alone.

On a whim, I put the post up on LinkedIn today.

6 hours later...

...A low-key 10K+ people just wandered over to my page. 👀

Turns out, there are a lot of founders, advisors, and even INVESTORS

Who agree with the idea

  • That funding is not the goal.

  • That it's not even the hard part.

  • That it's a tool.

  • And that sometimes, it's a distraction.

What IS the goal?

It varies for each company and at every stage.

But for the overwhelming majority of early-stage tech companies it's this:

✅ Getting in front of customers
✅ Convincing them to buy your product
✅ Running a business that can deliver what you've promised them
